The control room

When I was building a map, this idea came to mind. It is a small map compared to most AS-Maps. I wished it were a little bigger, but O well. Too late now. :). Seems to hold about 12 players pretty well. It will hold 20 players, Most likely will be spammy at 20! To be honest, I find it very hard to defend. It's packed in there pretty tight! I have several ways to each level. Each will progressively open as you go. There is no one way. The weapons? You start off with the mini, and pulse. As you go through the levels it will give you the better ones in key places. At least I hope!   It should work with instagib, I have tested for it, and online play. There will be a few things disappear when playing online, but should not be a problem.

I have had a ball in it. I don't know how many times I caught my self giggling as my ass was bouncing  behind the ship, as the bots were still shooting me. lol  I hope that you have fun playing it as well.

Brushes:

The main ship brush is made from a revolved brush, then merged. There are a few brushes that I got from other epic games. Most were static meshes that I converted to brushes, then imported into UT. There were a few that I converted into meshes. Albe the albatross I made from a static mesh from UT2k4. You may have seen it in cooloola's map already. Of course every one has seen the helicopter from high speed. I just made it a mesh.

                                                  Amidships

Bots:

The bot pathing was a challenge. There are many triggers movers, and interlocks. The bots had a hard time using most. I spent many hours working on just bots, pathing, and triggers. They seem to do OK now. I have put changing routes for them. That way they don't gaggle together to much, but sometimes they still do. Once in a while they my stop for a bit, but will start back. There is allot going on in the background, so it my choke down a slower computer. I tried to make it as playable as possible.

Textures:

As most of you can tell, I used a lot of 2k4, and U2 Textures. I have also made a few. I have a few large 1024x1024 textures in. I took them out. The main trouble you will have because I used them will be your video card. If you have a card with very little onboard memory, then you will most likely have trouble running it. If you have an onboard Intel, good luck!! :( Let's hope beta testing has shown all the bugs.

Sounds:

There are a few odd custom sounds in this map. Some were found on the internet, while others were from other epic games.

Music:

All the music was found at ModArchive. I have embedded them in my map for easy  installation. I do not claim them at all. I have links to the files, and authors at the left if you care to take a look.
